Period.

We will never charge for access to our printable files.
Our license ensures that these files will always remain available for your use, at no cost to you, wherever they may be found online.

Free to Modify

You are encouraged to modify, adapt, and build upon any OTW file.
Experimentation and innovation are fundamental values of this community.

Whether you enhance functionality, adapt for new materials, or combine designs into something entirely new, you are free to do so — as long as your work upholds the same open principles and properly credits the original creators.

If you are remixing or building within the OTW ecosystem, we encourage you to follow the OTW Creator Agreement.
This agreement defines our shared standards — outlining what we expect from you, and what you can expect from us — to ensure quality, openness, and trust across the community.

Free to Share

You are free to drop these files anywhere you like. Download them, share them amongst your friends. Load them on to USB drives and fire them out of a cannon into North Korea. Its all fine. (except maybe that North Korea part… maybe) As long as the files remain free and open to the end users.

The Caveat

Commercial manufacture is where we add some restrictions. If you want to manufacture OTW parts to sell or offer a “print for hire” service of Open Tool Wall designs, whether original or remixed, you’ll need a Commercial License. This helps support the project and keeps the ecosystem sustainable and available to everyone. (if you are making these for your own store display, you don’t need this licensing.
